Boku dake - Review
Boku dake ga Inai Machi
Genres : Psychological, Seinen,Supernatural
Boku Dake is the kind of anime that tricks you into thinking you know where this is going and then blind sides you. The Main character is Satoru Fujinuma, a 29 year old struggling mangaka who is able to go back a few minutes into the past and actually prevent deaths. This alone is enough to peak interest, but after watching the first episode, I’m hooked because of much more than that. The story, the animation, and the voice acting is much better than I expected. The story is really exciting and leaves you on the edge of your seat making grabby hands. Since preventing deaths sounds easier than it is, Satoru always has to keep his eyes peeled as soon as he realizes he’s jumped. And the cause aren’t always obvious. After the second jump in the anime, where seemingly nothing happens, we start to learn more about his past, and realize something darker may be unfolding once again. Old cases are reopened, doubts surface, and just as it seems someone’s on the verge of a discovery, a plot twist changes everything. Now our MC faces a challenge he wasn't expecting, and before he can run, he’s cast into a jump that could change everything.
